Description: This tall fir tree grows mainly in northern climates and there are many species of Fir. It has a clear and refreshing scent and it is widely used in toilet and bath preparations, room sprays, deodorants, disinfectants and inhalations. When used in a massage it is very soothing to muscles and joints.
The essential oil contains bornyl acetate, terpinyl acetate, bisabolene, camphene, dipentene, phelladrene and pinene.
Some aromatherapy uses are for: immune system, bronchitis, colds, fever, flu, arthritis, muscular aches and pains.
